We are seeking a motivated Quality Assurance Engineer to become part of a compact team that supports the broader Manufacturing division.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing quality within the manufacturing environment.
- Collect and analyze factory data, providing insights and recommendations for necessary process modifications to achieve performance targets.
- Conduct capability studies and collaborate with Engineering on tolerancing assessments.
- Engage in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) for significant projects, including Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
- Utilize Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (Gage R&R) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to support inspection strategies based on risk assessments and capability study findings.
- In response to customer feedback, spearhead investigations employing problem-solving methodologies to establish corrective and preventive measures.
- Maintain a prominent presence on the factory floor to uphold quality standards consistently.
- Possess a practical background with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Bring a minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing context, ideally in precision engineering.
- Demonstrate experience in leading quality enhancement initiatives.
- Proficient in drafting reports, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and conducting analyses using Excel and/or Word.
- Experience in Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) sectors, particularly in Automotive or Aerospace manufacturing.
