About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Acorn Park School as an Assistant SENDCo and Provision Lead. As a key member of our Education team, you will play a vital role in supporting the work of the SENDCo and helping to raise standards of achievement across all curriculum areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Nurture Provision in the Education team and serve as the Provision Lead for the school.
  • Support inclusion work within the school by working closely with the SENDCo, Therapy Lead, teaching, and senior staff to provide specialist support and advice.
  • Work with and provide specialist support to individual students and groups of students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies to overcome barriers to learning and ensure students' needs are met.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Excellent teaching skills and the ability to motivate and engage students.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Calm, resilient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
