About the Role

The NHS England is seeking an experienced Assistant Contract Manager to join the West Midlands Public Health Screening Commissioning Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assisting in the effective management of a portfolio of contracts, projects, and commissioning programme changes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the team in planning, managing, and delivering the portfolio of tasks and projects effectively.
  • Assist in the management of contracts, including drafting contract variations, updating contract schedules, finance, invoicing, and reporting as required by the commissioning team.
  • Deputise at contract and commissioning meetings as required, providing a debrief and updates following meetings, including any matters for escalation.
  • Deputise for Contract Managers and Chair meetings, ensuring meeting administration is completed, including action logs updated and circulated.

Key Requirements
