As a successful candidate, you will demonstrate resilience, empathy, and a commitment to providing essential care and support to pupils. You will work closely with the class teacher and other teaching staff to contribute to the overall positive learning experience of the pupils.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualised support to pupils with ALN on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Build trusting relationships with pupils and staff, offering social and emotional support
  • Adhere to the school's safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Create a positive and encouraging environment that fosters pupil confidence and skills
  • Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in adapting to various situations
Requirements:
  • Enhanced Child Only DBS Certificate (we can assist with the application process)
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
  • Two professional references covering 24 months
