Restaurant Manager Assistant Job Description

Hotel Du Vin is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager Assistant to join our team in Tunbridge Wells. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and contributing to the success of our restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in leading the restaurant team to achieve high standards of service and quality.
  • Manage the flow of the restaurant to ensure efficient service delivery and maximize guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve restaurant operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff training.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery and high-quality food presentation.
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies, to achieve budget targets.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a restaurant management or supervisory role, preferably in a similar environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff training.
