About the Position

The Challenge

As an Oracle Cloud EPM Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our global financial planning and accounting consolidation systems. You will work closely with our technical and business partners to gather requirements, design, develop, and deliver system functionality that meets the needs of our business partners across global locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop complex business rules in Calculation Manager and Groovy
  • Script using Python, Groovy, and CDM APIs, and utilize EPM Automate to automate data admin activities
  • Build integration artifacts in Cloud Data Management and FDMEE, such as locations, maps, custom/import scripts, using Python scripts
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in maintaining and enhancing our global budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning systems
  • Support multiple planning and consolidation applications in Oracle EPM Cloud
  • Provide innovative reporting solutions using Narrative, Management, Financial Reporting, and Dashboards
  • Perform performance tuning and optimization of planning and consolidation applications
  • Work with income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow concepts and KPIs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in Oracle EPM Hyperion Planning design, development, and administration, with 3+ years on EPM Cloud, including EPBCS, FCCS, Narrative, and Management Reporting
  • Expert knowledge in Oracle EPM Cloud and On-Premises Hyperion Architecture using Hybrid Application methodology and Financial Modules
  • Proficient in writing complex code in Calculation Manager Business Rules and Groovy Scripting
  • Experience with integrations within EPM Cloud across cubes and integration with other corporate systems
  • Expert knowledge of all components of EPBCS, including metadata administration, outlines, dimensions, complex calculations, business rules, calculation scripts, creating snapshots, backups, data and artifact migrations, security setup and configuration, data forms, charts, and graphs
  • Expert in BSO, ASO, and Hybrid cube design
  • Expert knowledge of performance optimization of planning applications, including data load process, business rules, calculation scripts, and reporting methods
  • Expert knowledge of creating financial reports, charts, pivots, dashboards, books, batches, snapshot reports, using Financial Reporting
  • Expert in automation, SQL, batch scripting, and EPMAutomate
  • Expert knowledge in automations of data loads and integrations using FDMEE/Data Management
  • Expert knowledge on metadata upload process through incremental files and creating automations to seamlessly load metadata
  • Expert in SQL development and maintenance of stored procedures, triggers, and queries
