About the Role: Clinical Director for BANES, Swindon and Wiltshire (East) Division
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Director to lead our East Division, encompassing all adult mental health services. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of mental healthcare in this region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the delivery of safe, high-quality mental health services across the division.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including commissioners, social care partners, and other agencies, to ensure seamless service integration and effective resource allocation.
- Oversee the implementation of major service transformation initiatives, aligning with national frameworks and local priorities.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and best practice within the division.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of clinical and operational staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Clinician with current professional registration.
- Masters Level education or equivalent experience/competence.
- Management qualification or equivalent experience/competence.
- Proven track record of successful service delivery and change management in a mental health setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience of senior management in other healthcare or public sector organizations.
- Knowledge of mental health policy and legislation.
