Position Overview

A Marine Licensing Specialist is sought for a prominent offshore wind energy organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of specific work packages to facilitate the offshore components of the Development Consent Order (DCO) and Marine Licences associated with the initiative.
  • Evaluate the outputs from offshore consultants in designated areas as necessary.
  • Implement and manage Quality Assurance (QA) protocols, along with tracking and monitoring systems for offshore project deliverables.
  • Foster effective collaboration within the offshore team for all related packages.
  • Manage contractors and budgets for pertinent scopes of work.
  • Assist the Consent Manager by providing insights on resource requirements, timelines, and risks concerning offshore components.
  • Report on critical issues affecting offshore workstreams to the Offshore Consent Lead.
  • Coordinate closely with other project stakeholders as directed by the Consent Lead.
  • Ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of buildable consent for offshore project elements.
  • Contribute to the project’s consent strategy for offshore components and relay information to the Offshore Consent Lead.
  • Support the development, application, and execution of tools and trackers to manage project deliverables.
  • Take charge of and produce DCO/Marine licence documentation in collaboration with both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in project and stakeholder meetings as necessary, including preparation and documentation of minutes.
  • Engage and coordinate with third parties as required by the Offshore Consent Lead to aid in application preparation, tracking, and reporting.
  • Prepare and oversee the creation of internal reports.
  • Conduct technical and consistency evaluations of third-party deliverables.
