About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at AGM Construction Recruitment. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality design engineering services to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with a minimum of 10 years of experience working with UK-based design consultancies. You will be responsible for leading technical projects, coordinating with internal design teams and external clients, and ensuring that all design solutions meet client objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical projects across residential, commercial, retail, and industrial sectors
  • Coordinate with internal design teams and external clients to achieve well-rounded design solutions
  • Conduct structural assessments and inspections of new and existing properties
  • Develop and maintain expertise in materials such as steel, masonry, concrete, and timber

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience with UK-based design consultancies
  • Background in similar projects to align with our existing and future workload
  • Confident, commercial, and professional demeanor
  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Extensive experience with Steel, Concrete, Masonry, and Timber materials
  • Proficiency in British Standards, Eurocodes, and relevant design guidance
  • Strong analytical, communication, and technical design skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication abilities
  • Chartered (or near-Chartered) status with the IStructE or ICE
  • Full clean driving license
