Financial Planning Specialist

At AFH Wealth Management, we are seeking a skilled and client-focused Independent Financial Adviser to join our team. As a self-employed or employed adviser, you will have the opportunity to work with a progressive and client-centric financial planning-led wealth management firm.
In this role, you will be responsible for understanding your clients' current and future financial goals and formulating easy-to-understand financial strategies to guide them towards financial independence.
As an Independent Financial Adviser at AFH Wealth Management, you will have the flexibility to work from home or office locations, with access to our comprehensive support systems and resources.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and respond to clients' changing needs and financial circumstances, keeping introducers and clients informed about new financial products or changes to legislation that may affect their clients' pensions, savings, investments, and financial plans.
- Acquire and develop new business from new/existing clients and professional introducers through personal business planning, referrals, and our company's lead generation programme.
- Optimise the use of all marketing opportunities available, including social media and networking with introducers and other professionals to develop new business.
- Contact corporate and individual clients to set up meetings, either within an office environment, in the clients' homes or business premises, or virtually via Microsoft Teams.
- Conduct in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, current provision, and future aims and objectives, analysing information, conducting research, and preparing financial planning reports tailored to the individual clients' requirements.
- Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or FCA approved equivalent) and maintenance of CF30 status in accordance with FCA regulations.
- Experience in networking and attracting new clients through business development and effective business planning to grow a client bank and build relationships with affinity groups, business owners, entrepreneurs, professional, and retail clients.
- Support to build your client base and future value.
- End-to-end in-house client journey and back-office support with full DIS, admin, and paraplanning support.
- Client-centric proposition and trusted brand reputation with compelling values and ongoing learning and development culture.
