About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Pink Tile Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEND and SEMH needs, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist with classroom management, including behavior management and de-escalation techniques.
  • Support students with daily living skills, such as personal care and hygiene.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the school's SEND and SEMH policies.
Requirements
  • Experience working with students with SEND and SEMH needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Patience, understanding, and confidence in managing challenging behavior.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance and ability to provide references.
