Position Overview

Enterprise is pleased to present an opportunity for an Automotive Quality Inspector to become a part of our dedicated team.


The primary responsibility of the selected candidate will be to maintain our vehicle quality standards, capture images of damaged rental vehicles/assets, and perform safety and functionality assessments of ancillary equipment.

A keen eye for detail and the ability to adhere to established processes and protocols are essential for this role.

Compensation

- £11.44 per hour

  • Annual performance-related reviews for potential increases
Work Schedule

  • 42.5 hours per week
  • 07:30 to 16:30

This extensive network includes independent regional subsidiaries and franchises that manage the Enterprise Rent-A-Car brand, along with National Car Rental and Alamo Rent-A-Car brands, across 90 countries and territories.

In total, Enterprise Mobility and its affiliate, Enterprise Fleet Management, oversee approximately 1.85 million vehicles and employ around 80,000 individuals worldwide.


Enterprise Flex-E-Rent serves as the commercial vehicle rental division, providing tailored services to meet the needs of commercial vehicle hire customers from multiple locations across the UK.

Enterprise Flex-E-Rent specializes in dedicated commercial and accessible vehicle solutions for businesses and public sector organizations, offering customized services to align with clients' operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough audits of vehicle check-ins and damage assessments for vehicles arriving at the depot, as well as inter-depot transfers.
  • Perform depot check-ins and inspect vehicles for faults or damages, including ancillary equipment such as tail lifts, and report any issues to management for workshop review.
  • Maintain high standards for all vehicles available for hire through regular spot checks.
  • Keep accurate records of vehicle statuses and ensure quality control.
  • Verify that all vehicles going out on rent meet the specified requirements and requested items.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a full UK/EU driving license.
  • Current UK CE or C driving license is advantageous (formerly Class 1 & 2) with a maximum of 6 points.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and effective telephone communication skills.
