About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to join our Sensors & Protection line of business, working on a range of defence projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing innovative software solutions using C++ and other programming languages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new applications to meet user expectations and within formal constraints.
  • Develop software solutions using C++ and other programming languages.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to create market-leading products within the defence industry.
  • Work with development teams to implement iterative development lifecycles and use tools associated with these lifecycles.
  • Familiarity with development to design and coding standards.

Requirements

  • Understanding and knowledge of C++ software development.
  • Experience with developing Windows & Linux applications.
  • Experience of using iterative development lifecycles (for example tailored Agile).
  • Experience using tools associated with iterative development lifecycles (Jira / DevOps).
  • Familiarity with development to design and coding standards.
