Exciting Opportunity for a Clinical Lead Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team at a leading care home in Whitehaven, Cumbria. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of nursing staff to deliver high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of nursing staff to ensure the delivery of excellent care standards
  • Promote independence and dignity for residents while enhancing their quality of life
  • Support the delivery of improvements and drive quality standards in line with CQC guidelines
  • Ensure a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for residents, employees, and visitors
  • Support the Home Manager and take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in managing a team, ensuring staff supervision and rota management
  • Knowledge of quality and clinical governance programs, including audit and care services
  • Ability to produce well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments, with an understanding of regulatory frameworks
  • Confident in overseeing medicine management and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Able to support, guide, teach, and mentor others in line with the NMC Code
