Teaching Swedish in London

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Swedish teacher to join our Foreign Languages team at International House London | IH London.

The role involves teaching adults on our evening face-to-face courses at our school in Covent Garden. You will plan and deliver high-quality Swedish language lessons to adult learners, collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of courses, and participate in ongoing professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • Swedish (C2 level)
  • Fluent English
  • Initial teaching qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant teaching experience to adults
  • Clear Police Record and Enhanced DBS
  • Possess a CELTA, Trinity TESOL or DELTA

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hold a degree in Swedish Language and Literature or a degree in Modern Languages (English, Spanish, German, French, etc.)
