About the Role:

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at an SEN secondary school near Bournemouth. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning of SEN pupils, helping them meet their potential through smaller booster groups and 1:1 sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teaching and learning of SEN pupils across the school, working with struggling pupils or those who have become stifled by the curriculum.
  • Help pupils meet their potential through smaller booster groups and 1:1 sessions.
  • Support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
  • Work closely with the SENCO to monitor and advance developments in both academic and social areas.

Requirements:

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
