Fashion Buyer

Quest Search & Selection is currently working with a leading supplier in the fashion and footwear industry to find a Buyer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, developing, and delivering a commercially focused and well-balanced product range for own-label womenswear.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Buying Director to develop ranges that maximize sales and profit aligned to brand market position and value. They will also be responsible for negotiating with suppliers and factories directly to manage margins and build long-term relationships.
The Buyer will be part of a team of 10 within Buying/Product and 7 Merchandisers, and will be expected to work collaboratively with merchandising, design, and QA teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills, as well as experience in fashion, accessories, or footwear.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with sourcing and developing product ranges
- Delivering commercially focused and well-balanced product ranges
- Negotiating with suppliers and factories to manage margins
- Building effective working relationships across the business
Key requirements include:
- At least + years of Buying experience in junior buyer or buyer level
- Ability to relocate or be based in the Lancashire/Cumbria/Scottish region
- Experience in fashion, accessories, or footwear (other categories will be considered)
- Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills
Benefits include:
