Senior Media Manager / Strategist

This is a unique opportunity to join a globally-recognised integrated agency that produces exceptional behavioural change work. As a Senior Media Manager / Strategist, you will play a vital role in developing media dissemination strategies and planning to effect knowledge, attitudes, and behaviours in target audience groups across the world.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement integrated media campaigns across various channels, including digital, performance, TV, OOH, radio, social, and influencer marketing.
  • Utilise research, best practices, and critical thinking to bring innovative media strategy and planning approaches to the business.
  • Set an example within the agency in media strategy/planning and digital/performance marketing, developing effective ways of working, tools, and techniques to share with the organisation.
  • Provide communications strategy and media guidance to other members of the strategy and other departments as needed.
  • Manage junior media strategists/planners to work as part of the team to deliver results.
Requirements:
  • Experience in designing and implementing integrated media campaigns in various channels.
  • Working knowledge of earned media channels, including social media, public relations, and public affairs.
  • Fundamental knowledge of media strategist techniques, tools, and practices.
  • Ability to quickly analyse and process large volumes of data and insight from multiple sources.
  • Ability to craft and present simple and effective communications strategy and media plans to reach target audiences in hard-to-reach environments.
  • Ability to work with messaging strategists and creative staff/partners to ensure media and communication strategy/planning creates the greatest impact with available resources.
  • Adept at managing multiple partner relationships, including media buying agencies, digital platforms, data suppliers, and in-country media consultants.
  • Understanding of the culture and media landscape of a country and ability to translate this into usable insight for message dissemination through paid, earned, and owned media.
  • Knowledge of multiple forms of research, both in strategy development and subsequent reporting.
  • Experience in a similar working environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills (English).
  • Interest in geo-politics and international relations.
