Job Overview

We are seeking a Culinary Support Team Member to become part of our dedicated team at Darwin Escapes. This role is based in a vibrant holiday park environment, offering an hourly wage of £11.44.

This is a seasonal opportunity with variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Flexibility is crucial to meet the operational needs of our business.

Role Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with various kitchen tasks.
  • Washing pots and kitchen equipment.
  • Collecting, cleaning, and restocking all crockery and utensils efficiently.
  • Supporting the kitchen team in the preparation of diverse food items.
  • Upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Collaborating with the Head Chef on various kitchen duties.
  • Preparing fresh ingredients and cooking quality dishes, including pizza from our external wood-fired oven.

Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience in a busy kitchen setting is preferred. Catering qualifications and Level 3 Food Safety certification are advantageous but not mandatory. A valid driving license is beneficial for convenient travel.
