Position Overview:

The role of the Pumping Systems Service Engineer encompasses the installation, maintenance, and repair of a diverse array of commercial and industrial pumping solutions. This includes, but is not limited to, booster sets, pressurisation units, and HVAC systems, along with the management of sewage and wastewater pumps, pumping stations, macerators, grease traps, and systems for stormwater management and rainwater collection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Maintenance: Ensure that all pumping systems are installed correctly and maintained to the highest standards, guaranteeing operational efficiency and safety.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert troubleshooting and repair services for a variety of pumping systems, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions, enhancing customer satisfaction.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Extensive experience with commercial and industrial pumping systems, including booster sets and HVAC technologies.
    • Solid understanding of sewage and wastewater management systems.
    • Familiarity with stormwater and rainwater harvesting systems.
  • Analytical Skills:
    • Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues effectively.
    • Strong problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on independent work under pressure.
  • Certifications:
    • Relevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering.
    • Desirable certifications related to pumping systems and electrical safety.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging from 40K to 42K, with potential for overtime earnings (OTE of 50K to 60K).
