Quality Assurance Inspector

Kepak Group, a leading global food company, is seeking a highly skilled QA Inspector to join our team in Merthyr Tydfil. As a QA Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products, meeting legislative and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Audit and inspect various areas of the manufacturing site, including Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Glass & Perspex (G & P), Fabrication/Maintenance, Foreign Body Prevention, Labeling & Traceability, and Raw Material Intake.
- Verify that all incoming raw materials conform to the site's requirements and specifications.
- Oversee the coordination of non-conformance findings, including actions taken, and report these to the relevant department managers and suppliers.
- Guarantee that all checks are conducted at the required intervals and meet the H.A.C.C.P. standards, including Metal Detection, Product, packaging, and tare accuracy, Product & environmental temperature monitoring, Environmental swabbing, Product/Specification match, Pricing & additional label verification, and Product Quality, Testing and Assessments.
- Ensure all products leaving the factory meet the defined criteria outlined in the relevant customer specifications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to balance speed with a keen eye for detail.
- Self-motivated and driven.
- Clear understanding of English written and spoken.
