About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Chief Underwriting Officer to join our team at HFG. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for developing and managing our underwriting book for Property, Energy, Construction, and Cargo classes on a worldwide basis, excluding the US region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively underwrite business within Property, Energy, Construction, and Cargo classes on a worldwide basis.
  • Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge within Underwriting and the relevant classes of business.
  • Contribute to the start-up and growth of our MGA business.
  • Ensure compliance with Lloyd's standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 25+ years of underwriting experience within Property, Energy, Construction, and Cargo on a worldwide basis, excluding the US region.
  • Strong technical knowledge within Underwriting and the relevant classes of business.
  • Developed portfolio of business and clients.
