Job Summary:
The Port Operative role within the Site Operations Department at CastleView Group requires a multi-skilled individual capable of working efficiently and effectively within a team. This is a site-based position, primarily located at a major port facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate plant machinery and equipment, and perform support tasks across all areas of the site.
- Maintain safety standards while carrying out operations, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Work within a multi-shift pattern, ensuring coverage and operational continuity.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve seamless functioning of site operations.
- Perform tasks related to facilities management, including maintenance and upkeep of equipment and facilities.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate 24/7 operations.
- Cherry picker or Forklift license is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Compensation:
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive daily rate of £220.
