Financial Accountant - Practice to Industry

Armstrong Knight is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team in a practice-to-industry role. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing quarterly Mura management accounts and forecasts, as well as companies' CTDs, audit files, and profit allocations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare quarterly Mura management accounts and forecasts
  • Prepare companies' CTDs and audit files
  • Liaise with auditors as required
  • Calculate profit share and prepare WLDL profit allocations
  • Develop and manage Caseware accounts and CT600s
  • Review and manage solicitor suspense, trade creditor, and bank balances
  • Draft VAT registrations and OTTs
  • Prepare post-site purchase and sales completion statements and set up control sheets
  • Ensure compliance with bank covenants for various loan facilities
  • Authorise bank payments using online banking software
  • Support the formation and strike-off of companies

This role is ideal for Practice candidates seeking to transition into industry, and we welcome applications from Qualified or finalist Practice Accountants.
