Overview:MCG Construction, a prominent Main Contractor in the fit-out sector, is seeking a dedicated Site Manager to oversee a significant retail fit-out initiative. This role involves managing a flagship project that focuses on the refurbishment, enhancement, and redesign of an operational retail space.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the execution of large-scale fit-out projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Report directly to the site-based Project Lead, collaborating with both day and night teams.
- Engage with the end user/client, maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee daily operations on-site, including managing Health & Safety protocols.
- Conduct daily inductions and toolbox talks to ensure all personnel are informed and compliant.
- Proactively address and resolve any issues that arise during the project.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in delivering large fit-out projects within a recent work history.
- Valid CSCS Card, First Aid at Work certification, and SMSTS qualification.
