Job Title: Graphical UI Developer

Location: Remote/Hybrid - flexible working arrangements

Salary/Rate: Competitive daily rate - INSIDE IR35

Job Type: Contract - 3 month initial term with potential extension

Company Overview

CV Library is partnering with a leading trading company to find an experienced Graphical UI Developer with a strong background in React to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, strong front-end development skills, and experience working with complex, data-rich applications. You will be working closely with traders, product managers, and UX/UI designers to create intuitive, responsive, and visually stunning interfaces for their high-performance trading platform.

  1. Develop and implement user interfaces using React for the front-end of the trading platform, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  2. Collaborate with product managers, traders, and UX/UI designers to translate wireframes, mockups, and design prototypes into high-quality, user-centric applications.
  3. Optimize components for maximum performance across a range of devices and browsers.
  4. Create reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
  5. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  6. Work closely with backend engineers to integrate API endpoints into the front-end interface.
  7. Test, debug, and maintain front-end code, ensuring quality assurance standards are met.
  8. Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and apply them when relevant to improve user experience.

Required Skills/Experience:

  1. Proven experience as a Graphical UI Developer, specifically in React.
  2. Strong understanding of React and its core principles.
  3. Proficiency in modern front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  4. Experience with front-end build pipelines and tools.
  5. Experience working on financial services applications or platforms with complex data sets is a plus.
  6. Knowledge of version control (Git) and experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  1. Knowledge of financial trading systems and/or experience in FinTech.
  2. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
