MIG/TIG Welder Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled MIG/TIG Welder to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. As a key member of our engineering business, you will be responsible for welding large steel components using MIG/TIG techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organise and check kits of parts before proceeding to weld
  • Fully weld components and remove splatter ready for inspection
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Work in 2 to 3 man teams to weld large steel components
Requirements:
  • Experienced in MIG/TIG welding with the ability to read engineering drawings
  • NVQ Level 3 in fabrication & Welding / Plating & Welding desirable
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Based within a commutable distance of our office
Benefits:
  • Full time - Permanent
  • Salary - £15.00 per hour (Negotiable after 3 month probation)
  • Monday to Friday - 08:30 to 17:00
  • Overtime available
  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays
