We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to join our team at Southfields Veterinary Specialists. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their owners.
Key Responsibilities- Support the provision of inpatient and emergency care to patients from all disciplines, including neurology, surgery, oncology, and internal medicine.
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure the highest standards of animal care and welfare.
- Participate in a weekend and Bank Holiday rota, working shifts between 7 am-8 pm.
- Develop your clinical skills through a thorough and supported induction and completion of the Linnaeus Patient Care Assistant Course.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Professional and caring approach in all aspects of your work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience within a similar role would be advantageous.
- 5 weeks holiday + bank holidays + Birthday Leave.
- RCVS and VDS fees paid.
