Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant + Additional Training Provided

EdEx Education Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a forward-thinking and creative Primary School in the Borough of Hackney.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and flexible individual to support a variety of SEN students, including Autism (ASD), Dyslexia, ADHD, and Speech & Language difficulties. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced teachers and other professionals to provide 1:1 and group support in and out of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting students with SEN needs in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment
  • Working closely with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Providing 1:1 and group support in and out of the classroom
  • Attending weekly training sessions to develop skills and knowledge
  • Working across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 school phases
Requirements:
  • Degree from a reputable University
  • Outgoing, forward-thinking, and creative personality
  • Strong understanding of SEN and previous experience in a working or personal capacity
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
