Position: Forklift Warehouse Operator
Location: Mendip Distribution Centre

Are you experienced in warehouse operations and possess a Counterbalance Licence? If so, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Forklift Warehouse Operator, your duties will include:
1. Operating Counterbalance and Pivot Steer forklifts to efficiently load and unload goods from transport vehicles.
2. Utilizing the warehouse management system and scanner to accurately receive, store, and dispatch goods while ensuring careful handling.
3. Replenishing stock and consolidating inventory as necessary.
4. Responding to customer inquiries regarding packaging and materials via telephone.
5. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and equipment.
6. Completing relevant documentation in accordance with warehouse procedures, including reporting any equipment defects.

Essential Skills:
- A valid Counterbalance and Pivot Steer forklift license is preferred, but comprehensive in-house training can be provided.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team or independently.
