Empowering Learning: SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our mainstream school in NG9. This is a full-time position offering a permanent contract, starting in September 2024.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with SEN, promoting their learning and development in a nurturing environment.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and deliver differentiated lessons, catering to the diverse needs of pupils within the SEN unit.
  • Foster a culture of inclusivity, valuing and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a school setting.
  • A patient and compassionate approach, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with pupils.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
