Job Description - Procurement Data Analyst & Contract Specialist

Key Responsibilities

We're seeking a highly motivated and proactive Procurement Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing procurement data to support decision-making. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and maintaining dashboards to track procurement metrics and KPIs.
  2. Conducting spending analysis, supplier performance analysis, and market research.
  3. Identifying cost-saving opportunities and recommending improvements in procurement processes.
  4. Collaborating with procurement management, finance, and IT teams to integrate data from various sources.
  5. Maintaining data integrity and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also represent Mercedes-Benz in the UK to all suppliers and maintain contract condition negotiations with suppliers on behalf of MBUK Ltd.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a sound understanding of contract law and legislation, as well as experience in coordinating the creation of complex agreements. You will also need to have a high level of expertise in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau, and be able to demonstrate results effectively using PowerPoint and other presentation tools.
