About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Marine Systems Engineer to join our team at EniProgetti UK Branch in Basingstoke, UK. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the offshore design team and providing guidance on Marine Systems design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the offshore design team and providing guidance on Marine Systems design.
  • Setting up internal workflow for assigned Projects and planning the team's activities accordingly.
  • Studying and defining the best technical solutions for Marine Systems.
  • Teamwork and collaboration with immediate and wider teams.
  • Liaising with other disciplines during project execution.

Requirements:

  • Degree in an appropriate engineering discipline such as mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture (with focus on Marine Systems).
  • Candidate must be highly experienced with the writing of technical specifications and functional requirements for the marine systems in FPSO and FLNG, during the Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) and execution on FPSO/FLNG projects.
  • Experience of working on or monitoring of FEED and EPC LNG projects, Seagoing experience as second/chief engineer, experience in working with Oil Tankers/ LNG Carriers, experience as a Classification Society, surveyor or Tanker/LNG Ship Vetting engineer, OPITO certified for offshore travel would be preferable to cover this position.
