We are seeking skilled and experienced Electrical Lineworkers and Cable Jointers to join our team at Western Power. As a Lineworker or Cable Jointer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and reliable delivery of electricity to our customers across Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities- Attend to network faults and perform repairs and maintenance on overhead and underground distribution networks
- Carry out construction and maintenance work on electrical infrastructure
- Perform metering, services, and streetlight repairs
- Complete customer-funded projects
- Ensure safety is the top priority at all times
- Certificate III in ESI – Power System Distribution/Transmission Overhead (or equivalent)
- Valid WA 'HR' Class Drivers Licence (subject to business requirements)
- Industry experience and a strong understanding of electrical infrastructure
- White Card and ability to work at heights
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
