Job Title: Accounts Receivable and Banking Officer

Red Snapper Recruitment is seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable and Banking Officer to join our client's team in Staffordshire. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely invoice processing, effective debt recovery, and accurate transaction allocation within the ledger.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process transactions on the bank statement and allocate them within the ledger in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with the bank to facilitate efficient transaction investigation and resolution.
  • Oversee the accounts receivable ledger to ensure robustness in all ledger balances and maintain accurate records.
  • Manage the sales ledger, ensuring invoices are raised in a timely and accurate manner, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Administer debt collection arrangements in line with the debt collection policy and procedure, ensuring compliance and effective recovery.
  • Prepare monthly aged debtor reports with relevant commentary to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of banking systems and transaction flows.
  • Excellent Excel skills and ability to interpret organizational policies to ensure compliance.
  • Relevant knowledge of sales ledgers and debt recovery procedures, with a proven track record of providing high-quality customer-focused financial services.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a high level of professionalism.
