We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Operator to join our team at First Recruitment Services. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating automated equipment, interpreting technical specifications, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and run all automated equipment, ensuring optimal production efficiency and quality.
- Interpret technical specifications from drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production.
- Process recycled materials using compounding processes, adhering to strict quality control standards.
- Maintain accurate records and update systems as required, ensuring seamless communication with colleagues and management.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve and deliver to business aims and objectives, promoting a culture of teamwork and innovation.
- Five years' experience in extrusion (preferably PVC) with a strong understanding of production processes and equipment.
- NVQ or similar in pipe and profile extrusion, demonstrating a solid foundation in technical skills.
- Practical problem-solving attitude and ability, with a focus on efficiency and quality.
- Experience of setting, operating, and troubleshooting a wide range of production tooling within an extrusion environment.
- Production schedule management, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Ability to work as part of a team, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
