We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and/or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the development and implementation of individual learning and behaviour plans and programmes.
- Establish positive relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and responding to their individual needs.
- Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
- Encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher.
- Set challenging expectations to promote self-esteem and encourage independence.
- Provide feedback to pupils on progress and achievement.
- Support pupils with physical needs, including manual handling and personal care.
- Support pupils in swimming and hydrotherapy pools.
- Reliability, enthusiasm, and initiative.
- Friendly manner towards children and adults.
