We are seeking an exceptional SEND teaching assistant to work with a learner with additional needs in the Early Years. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with students with additional needs such as Down's Syndrome and/or Speech and Language.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships with students and staff, and have a positive attitude towards teaching and aiding children's development.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Supervising and providing learning support for children in small groups and on a one-to-one basis
  • Assisting with the development of individual education and behavioural plans, setting challenging expectations for pupils to achieve learning goals
  • Establishing trusting relationships with pupils and interacting with them according to individual needs and personalities
