Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and flexible Cover Supervisor to support the education and development of our students in Sevenoaks. As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee and manage classrooms when teachers are absent, ensuring students remain engaged and focused on learning activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
- Distribute and collect class materials and homework assignments as instructed.
- Provide support and guidance to students as needed.
- Communicate effectively with teachers and other school staff regarding classroom activities and students' progress.
- Follow school policies and procedures regarding attendance, punctuality, and dress code.
- Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a classroom and maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different subject areas and with different age groups.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
