About the Role
As a Finance Apprentice at Churchill Retirement, you will gain invaluable experience by rotating through various departments within the Finance Function across the Churchill Group of companies. This exposure will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the Finance Team's operations. Your duties will encompass assisting with payroll and pension management, HMRC submissions, BACS and cheque transactions, bank reconciliations, processing invoices and ledger entries, as well as generating financial reports. You will be guided by a proficient team dedicated to nurturing apprentices' skills.
This position offers a professional, welcoming, and family-oriented work environment where essential 'soft' skills such as communication, teamwork, and effective work practices will be cultivated.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess strong communication abilities, excellent time management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, high keyboard accuracy, customer service aptitude, analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and discretion. Additionally, you will need GCSE or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths.
Qualification and Progression
Upon successful completion of the Finance Apprentice program, you will have the opportunity to enroll in the Level 3 Assistant Accountant apprenticeship to further enhance your skills.
