As a Senior Business Model Consultant at Energy Systems Catapult, you will play a key role in assisting enterprises, from emerging startups to established SMEs, in accelerating their market entry within the energy sector. By collaborating with a wide array of external partners and internal teams, you will leverage a combination of energy, engineering, and commercial insights to craft pioneering business models.

Your main responsibilities will include assessing the present and prospective commercial feasibility of new energy business models. This will require a thorough understanding of future revenue and cost frameworks within the energy industry, pinpointing new value propositions, and formulating strategies for growth and scalability.

Requirements:

  • Experience in sustainable finance, energy policy, product/service innovation, or energy markets
  • Skilled in financial modeling, quantitative analysis, financial assessment, and report composition
  • Proven history of achieving successful project results

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert evaluations to support business cases, economic assessments, and cost-benefit analyses
