Role Overview

As a Casual Yard Assistant at Travis Perkins, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the branch team in achieving our business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a first-class service to our customers, building strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Process customer orders, load and unload vehicles, and maintain a tidy and safe working environment.
  • Unload building products from supplier deliveries and accurately book them in the branch warehouse.
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, with full training provided.
  • Contribute to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in the branch.

About the Team

You will be joining a friendly and experienced team of 8 colleagues at our Milnthorpe branch, where you will be at the forefront of our business with this customer-facing role. We strive to provide the best service in town, and we're looking for someone with drive and determination to help us succeed.

What We Offer

This is a zero-hour contract, but due to increased demand and busy periods, you may work up to 40 hours a week. We're committed to being flexible and accommodating, so we can work together to find a schedule that suits you.
