Job Title: Theatre Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Theatre Practitioner to join our team at Optical Express, a leading provider of laser eye, premium intraocular lens, and cataract surgery in the UK and Ireland.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting our expert Ophthalmologists in refractive and cataract surgery multidisciplinary clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in laser vision correction and intraocular lens (cataract) surgery procedures
  • Provide anaesthetic assistance and pre-operative assessments
  • Undertake pre-screening diagnostic duties and discharge patients with after-care advice and medications
  • Manage medicines and maintain accurate records
Requirements:

Candidates must be NMC or HCPC registered with previous Theatre or scrub experience.
