About your new role as an Industrial Yard Operative:
Kemp Recruitment is looking for an Industrial Yard Operative to assist in the maintenance, service, and overall management of substantial containerized generators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the servicing, maintenance, and visual upkeep of large containerized generators (500 KVA and above) for the rental fleet, ensuring compliance with the manufacturers' recommended service protocols.
  • Provide general assistance in the yard, including loading and unloading equipment.
  • Operate a forklift in the yard after receiving appropriate training.
  • Document hours and fuel levels of generators returned by clients.
  • Drive company vehicles for the collection and delivery of parts and essential equipment as needed.
  • Adhere to the Company Health & Safety Policy, maintaining cleanliness and organization in work areas.

Required Experience:
  • Prior experience in a comparable role within an industrial or maintenance environment.
  • Knowledge of servicing and maintaining large generators (500 KVA and above) is beneficial.
  • Basic mechanical skills and a willingness to acquire new techniques.
  • Capability to operate a forklift (training will be provided).
  • Possession of a full UK driving licence.
  • Strong dedication to health and safety standards.
