About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Study Trips Operations Coordinator to join our team at Diversity Travel. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in planning and executing study trips for academic organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with Clients: Develop strong relationships with clients to provide updates on trip logistics and planning.
  • Coordinate with Suppliers: Work with our network of suppliers to deliver tailored itineraries that meet client objectives.
  • Collaborate with Sales Team: Ensure a smooth handover of bookings with our sales team.
  • Identify Opportunities: Continuously look for ways to provide more value and a better tour experience for clients.
  • Dispatch Documentation: Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of documentation to clients.
  • Liaise with Hotels: Coordinate with hotels to ensure prepayment and smooth operations.
  • Contribute to Product Development: Work with our product team to develop and improve our tour products and database.
Requirements
  • Excellent Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service experience, ideally gained in a travel reservations, retail travel, or event planning environment.
  • Working Knowledge of GDS: Possess a working knowledge of a Global Distribution System.
  • Initiative and Problem-Solving: Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills to thrive in a high-volume and varied environment.
  • Good Time Management: Possess good time management skills to meet deadlines and deliver results.

  • Competitive Salary: Salary up to £26k (dependent on experience) plus OTE bonus £6k (linked to performance).
  • Generous Leave Policy: 31.5 days Annual Leave (including bank holidays), rising by 1 day (pro rata) after 12 months of service.
