Job Title: Embedded Junior Software Engineer

This role is available full-time for 37 hours per week, part-time with a minimum coverage of 22 hours / Flexible or compressed working patterns available.

About the Role

We're looking for talented individuals to design and write software for our custom-designed electronics products. As an Embedded Junior Software Engineer, you'll bring your technical knowledge and ideas to create and maintain software for specialist devices, meeting the needs of our national security partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test embedded software in C or C++
  • Develop embedded software to run in RTOS, Linux, or bare metal environments and electronic designs, particularly for digital logic and microcontroller circuits
  • Debug embedded software using laboratory test equipment
  • Contribute to project planning and meetings
Requirements
  • Relevant work experience, equivalent to/ or, a 2-1 or greater relevant Degree
  • Experience in real-time software or digital signal processing
  • Ability to understand and debug other's software (and your own)
  • Experience of Unit Testing and Static Analysis
