Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, your role will involve:

  • Overseeing the safe execution and successful delivery of various industrial automation projects, ensuring adherence to established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Managing project planning, risk assessment, and resource distribution, while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Serving as the main liaison for clients, end-users, suppliers, and internal teams, coordinating efforts to achieve project objectives.
  • Creating and updating detailed project plans, making adjustments as needed to respond to evolving requirements and conditions.
  • Facilitating effective communication with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates to senior management and clients regarding project status.
  • Monitoring project performance, identifying potential risks, and implementing strategies to mitigate delays and budget excesses.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to support promotional initiatives and ensure project outcomes align with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of industry standards, including NEC 4 (preferably Options A, C, and E), PMBOK, PRINCE2, and CDM15.
Professional Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A relevant engineering degree or demonstrable experience in automation projects.
  • Proven track record in managing projects within the Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Pharma, or Green Energy sectors.
  • Strong familiarity with NEC 4 contracts, particularly Options A, C, and E.
  • Knowledge of PMBOK or PRINCE2 methodologies and CDM15 regulations, especially in roles involving Principal Contractor and Principal Designer responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 and FastDraft, along with Microsoft Office applications like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Advanced Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications in addition to educational qualifications would be advantageous.
