Position Summary:

The Financial Operations Manager is integral to shaping the financial direction and efficiency of the organization. This position demands a keen analytical perspective, business insight, and a comprehensive grasp of financial regulations.

Core Duties:

  • Supervise all facets of financial operations, encompassing accounts payable and receivable management, vendor and client relations, and expense management.
  • Compile and evaluate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses.
  • Oversee payroll processing, commission assessments, time tracking, and credit management.
  • Ensure adherence to tax laws, including VAT and corporate tax filings.
  • Assist sales and service teams by delivering financial data and insights.
  • Engage in the budgeting and forecasting processes, offering financial perspectives to guide strategic choices.
  • Contribute to the leadership and growth of the finance team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of financial principles and standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
  • Expertise in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
  • Meticulous attention to detail and precision.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Ability to operate independently as well as collaboratively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Professional accounting qualifications or partially qualified (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
