The Financial Operations Manager is integral to shaping the financial direction and efficiency of the organization. This position demands a keen analytical perspective, business insight, and a comprehensive grasp of financial regulations.
Core Duties:
- Supervise all facets of financial operations, encompassing accounts payable and receivable management, vendor and client relations, and expense management.
- Compile and evaluate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses.
- Oversee payroll processing, commission assessments, time tracking, and credit management.
- Ensure adherence to tax laws, including VAT and corporate tax filings.
- Assist sales and service teams by delivering financial data and insights.
- Engage in the budgeting and forecasting processes, offering financial perspectives to guide strategic choices.
- Contribute to the leadership and growth of the finance team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- In-depth understanding of financial principles and standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Expertise in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
- Meticulous attention to detail and precision.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Ability to operate independently as well as collaboratively.
Preferred Skills:
- Professional accounting qualifications or partially qualified (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
