About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Technician to join our team at Newly Weds Foods in Banbury. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support to our end users, ensuring the smooth operation of our internal information systems and technical hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to IT helpdesk tickets in a professional and timely manner, adhering to our IT KPIs.
  • Provide technical support to end users, covering hardware and software-related issues.
  • Arrange for external technical support when necessary.
  • Perform regular maintenance of hardware and peripherals to ensure business continuity.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT-related documentation.
  • Provide multi-site cover, requiring travel and occasional overnight stays in the UK and mainland Europe.
  • Participate in out-of-hours support on a rota basis to ensure 24/7 coverage for production.

Requirements

  • Relevant IT qualification.
  • Previous experience in an IT support role is advantageous.
  • Full driving license.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary range of £33,000 - £39,000 depending on skills and experience.
  • 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
