Key ResponsibilitiesThe Projects team plays a crucial role in supporting ongoing administration efforts by executing various project-related tasks. As a Pension Implementation Specialist, you will:
- Ensure the successful completion of all new implementation project tasks in alignment with the Project Plan.
- Participate in regular project meetings, providing updates on the progress of implementation and other project initiatives.
- Assist in the more intricate aspects of new client implementations, including the execution and verification of parallel payrolls.
- Conduct and verify complex data cleansing and rectification tasks.
- Prepare and validate both manual and automated benefit calculations, along with associated correspondence.
- Maintain the internal pension administration database, generating necessary benefit calculations and related documentation.
- Calculate and apply pension increases, ensuring accurate communication with members and trustees.
- GCSE qualifications in Mathematics and English at grade C or above are essential.
- A Certificate in Pension Calculations (CPC) or progress towards other relevant PMI qualifications is advantageous.
- Experience in Financial Services or a background in Defined Contribution (DC) or Defined Benefit (DB) pension administration is required.
- A solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, is necessary.
- Familiarity with PRINCE2 project management methodologies is beneficial.
